Sottosopra (”Upside Down” in Italian) is an independent bookstore for kids in Milan. 

Small-sized but with big ambitions, it is characterized by a welcoming approach, a refined book selection, and a busy calendar of events. 
The brand new identity reflects their essence: playful, bold, friendly, and imaginative.

We also came up with a claim for the shop: “The small bookstore of great stories”. 

Along with the two upside-down faces (inspired by the bookstore’s name), it creates the foundation to build a variety of whimsical characters and stories inspired by children’s literature and imagery.
